"Delicious ice cream. Well worth the short wait. The ice cream is creamy and not too sweet"

"Great product from an independent icecream producer. In Halifax for a vacation, it's been years since I've had a "Grapenut" flavoured icecream, it met and exceeded my expectations. And the price posted INCLUDES the tax, NICE!"

"The ice cream was good. My husband got one scoop of caramel and licorice and found the taste too mild...we liked that you could get a large and try 2 flavours. The service was friendly but there may be some work required on organizing...we were 2nd in line in the pickup window (already ordered and paid) and the man in front of us was eating his ice cream and was half way through and understandably getting a bit frustrated but he still didn't lose patience and finally knocked on the window and said my wife is just waiting on a soft serve. It came out fairly soon after and then we waited another long time for 2 large plain cones...we just couldn't figure out what they were doing back there...it can't take that long to scoop out ice cream and there was 2 working. One taking orders mainly granted but the soft serve then ours took a long time and we were all next in line. Then when it came it was dripping as they handed it to us and we had to race to eat it and it dripped quite a bit on our hands and clothes. I don't know if the freezers aren't cold enough? It was a warm day but very overcast (August 13th, 2023), so it shouldn't have melted that fast. So good ice cream but some organizational issues to work on for sure."

"Simply the best place on the waterfront for ice cream! It's cheaper than the other ice cream places on and just as tasty, if not better! Black Bear Ice cream is also locally owned by some very very sweet people. If you want a sweet treat while you stroll, stop by and get your ice cream!!"

"I’m a big,big ice cream fan and was so excited to try Cows when I visited Halifax this summer. I was soooo disappointed. I decided to try Black Bear as well and boy oh boy was it WAAAAAAYYY better! Great flavour. Creamier/richer tasting ice cream. Don’t be fooled by the prices. A ‘single’ is two scoops (a lot of places do this). There’s no merch or gimmicks here. JUST GREAT ICE CREAM! Don’t miss it!"

"Old fashion deliciouse ice cream! Made in Halifax Many will praise Cows ice cream The milk and the waffle cones taste the same to me. It comes down to your flavor preferences."

"Long line but the do push you through fairly quickly. Loads of flavours to choose from. I would say about as pricey as any other “Ice cream shop”. Got the moon mist because you have to when in the east coast! Delicious. (Picture is my already well enjoyed single scoop)"
